Run as a Charity Runner with ACE 


The Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2026 Charity will take place on Sunday, October 18, 2026. Charity Runners from around the world are welcome to participate. 

If you are interested in joining as a Charity Runner, we invite you to support ACE (Action against Child Exploitation) and help us work toward a world free from child labour.

Scenes from Last Year 


We hosted a booth at the finish area of the MUFG Stadium (Japan National Statdium).　Many charity runners stopped by after completing the race, creating a vibrant space for connection and celebration. 






Donations and Charity Runner Application 


Application Schedule 

Application Period: April 15 (Wed), 11:00 a.m. – May 13 (Wed), 5:00 p.m., 2026 (JST) 

※ Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. 


How to Apply 

  1. Submit your application using the form below.  

  2. After applying, you will receive an email from ACE within one week with payment instructions.  

  3. Please make a donation of JPY 50,000 or more via credit card.  

  4. Once your donation is confirmed, you will receive a URL and password to complete your official race entry.  

  5. Complete your race registration on the official website and pay the entry fee (JPY 13,200 + system fee). 


How Your Donation Helps 


Donations from the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2026 Charity will support ACE’s initiatives to eliminate child labour, including: 

  • Educational support and school preparation  

  • Vocational training for youth  

  • Income-generating support for families  

  • Community awareness programs  

These efforts are primarily carried out in Ghana, along with advocacy, research, and child rights initiatives in Japan.

What is ACE?


Today, an estimated 138 million children worldwide are engaged in child labour, many in hazardous conditions that threaten their health, safety, and access to education. 

ACE works to eliminate child labour by: 

  • Supporting children, families, and communities in cocoa-producing regions of Ghana  

  • Collaborating with businesses and governments to prevent exploitation  

  • Promoting children’s rights through education, advocacy, and policy engagement  


In Japan, ACE also conducts workshops, training programs, and advocacy activities to create a society where children’s rights are fully respected. The organization is also expanding initiatives to improve children's well-being, including in Okinawa.
